More buyers are choosing to invest in a home where they can play this socially distanced sport. By Zoe Dare Hall
Robert Logan, a 62-year-old management consultant from Cambridge, is back standing on a fairway, club in hand, smile on his face. “Since the restrictions have eased we appreciate the fresh air, open spaces and amazing views more than we ever did,” he says. “The course has been beautifully maintained and is really well organised, so we never feel rushed.”

Like 30 or so other owners on the five-star Ritz-Carlton Abama resort in Tenerife — where one-bedroom flats start at €550,000, and villas overlooking the golf course from €1.6 million — Logan and his wife, Helena, 59, decided to stay on in their two-bedroom holiday home when lockdown loomed, rather than return to the UK.
